Friendship

“Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art, like the universe itself (for God did not need to create). It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things which give value to survival.” - C.S. Lewis

Friendship means the world to me.
My friends are where I strive.
You were there when no one else was,
and long after everyone returned.
You have been hurt by me,
as I have been by you.
Through all of this, in the end,
God allows us to forgive and
forget all of our wrong doings.
He brought us together,
and He can tear us apart,
but He has chosen to allow
our friendship to bloom into
a sisterhood, a bond between
us like the sisters we are in Him.

i love you guys.

Indeed. This is true. C. S. Lewis never fails to put things so beautifully.
